Why have we got just one helmet from viking age?
In 1943, in Haugsbygd in Ringerike, Norway, with many objects was found this viking helmet made of iron.
Durind the Nazi-occupied Norway, hidden from germans in a farm were found 76 different objects posibly made 100 years before. And more than70 years after this helmet is still very special for one reason.
It is the only complete helmet from viking age found in Scandinavia, but the explanation is not clear. Some archaecologists have the theory that helmets were reserved just for warlord and rich warriors. In this case, have we got just one helmet from just one king?.
